Gino M. Pereira
President & Chief
Executive Officer

From the date of inception of the Company, Mr. Pereira, one of our co-founders, has served as the Chief Executive Officer and Director. Mr. Pereira has over 30 years of executive, operational and financial experience with technology companies in the United States, Europe and the Far East. He has also helped to develop several technology start-ups as well as served in an executive capacity in a large multinational public company.

Mr. Pereira was Chief Financial Officer and later Chief Executive Officer of Technest Holdings Inc., a publicly quoted defense contracting company, from 2004 to 2011. Technest Holdings operated subsidiaries EOIR Technologies, Inc. and Genex Technologies, Inc. Mr. Pereira is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK) and has an MBA, with a specialty in finance, from the Manchester Business School in England.

Mr. Pereira brings to the Board significant expertise in the biometric and software recognition industries, as well as experience in international business technology and extensive management and operating experience. Having founded and/or operated companies in similar or related industries during the past 15 years, provides the board with unparalleled knowledge of the Company and its operations and an understanding of the markets the Company plans to operate in.

Michael Orlando
COO & President of Fit Pay, Inc.

With 22 years of experience in the payment services industry, Michael Orlando is an inspirational and strategic-minded leader who has played a key role in the growth and development of successful teams and companies.

Prior to founding FitPay, Michael served in numerous roles in payment, authentication, and software-as-a-service companies. As a global architect of the go-to- market initiatives, he has built sales and customer support engines that generated more than $300M in annual sales.

As Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Services at CyberSource, Michael oversaw all enterprise sales and professional services functions worldwide. During his tenure, Michael was responsible for driving revenue growth from $35M to $340M and establishing new international offices in Singapore, China, Brazil, Australia, and Dubai. In 2010, he served in a primary role in the acquisition of CyberSource by Visa Inc., guiding the business strategy, establishing the synergy rationale of the acquisition, and assisting with the negotiation and execution of the transaction, which resulted in a $2B purchase price – a 42% market premium.

Kevin O’Connor
President LogicMark

Mr. O’Connor is President Of LogicMark and has served in that capacity since January 2012.Prior to joining LogicMark, Kevin was with EZWatch as Vice President of sales for 1 year following the acquisition of the company by Generation3 Capital. Kevin spent eighteen years with Honeywell International in regional sales and management positions including President of the First Alert Professional dealer program within the Honeywell Security business from 2002‐2004 and Vice‐President of global sales for Honeywell Security from 2004‐2010. His career has been dedicated to industries and technology tailored to safety and security with an emphasis on detection and communication of emergency situations to first responders and professionally staffed call centers.

Vincent S. Miceli
Vice President & Chief
Financial Officer

Mr. Miceli, age 56, has extensive hands on experience in financial and operational management and business leadership in both substantial private and public companies. He is also experienced with working with public company Boards of Directors, as well as financial institutions. Mr. Miceli was the Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer of Panolam Industries International, Inc., a company which primarily designs, manufactures and distributes decorative and industrial laminates, from May 2006 to mid-December 2013. 

Prior to that, Mr. Miceli was the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Controller of Opticare Health Systems, Inc., a public company which provides integrated eye care services, from 2004 to 2006. Prior to 2004, Mr. Miceli held senior accounting positions at Amphenol Corporation and United Technologies, Inc. Mr. Miceli holds a BS in accounting from Quinnipiac College, an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Hartfordand he is an affiliate member of both the AICPA and the CT Society of Certified Public Accountants.

David Tunnell
Executive Vice President &
Chief Technology Officer

David Tunnell is an expert in biometrics, secure communications, and wearable technologies. Mr. Tunnell’s experience spans computer security (COMSEC), signal intelligence (SIGINT), communications intelligence (COMINT), and image intelligence (IMINT), with over 29 years of experience in building technologies and companies.

Mr. Tunnell’s accomplishments include the Technology of the Year award from Frost & Sullivan for biometrics in 2006 and inventor of a Top Ten Invention for the US Army in 2004.  Mr. Tunnell has pioneered a number of technologies including remote distributed sensing and processing, 3D facial recognition and imaging, 3D fingerprint, voice recognition, dynamic biometric-enabled authentication and encryption key generation, and miniature, low-power wearable technologies.

Mr. Tunnell brings a wealth of product development and marketing experience to NXT-ID, Inc.  He was the divisional director of 3D identification products at Technest Holdings Inc. from 2003 to 2012.  Prior to Technest, he served as an adjunct faculty teaching various advanced technology courses at the National Cryptologic School while working with various intelligence agencies and later at L3 Communications where he served as Director of Engineering for a subsidiary.  He has also served as the Principle Investigator for numerous research programs with the United States Department of Defense (DoD).  Mr. Tunnell holds a Masters in Technical Management (MSTM) from Johns Hopkins University and a BSEE from the University of Tennessee.

Scott Stevelinck
Senior Vice President of Engineering Fit Pay

Scott Stevelinck has over 15 years of software development and systems architecture. Scott’s innovativetalents have produced payment and security applications serving top enterprises in e-commerce, mobile payments, and secure transaction transport. He most recently served as Chief Technical Architect at Visa, Inc; managing the merchant-facing platform serving over 500,000 global merchants.

Prior to Visa, Scott was a Senior Solutions Architect at SGI, the trusted leader in high performance computing (HPC), focused on helping customers solve their most demanding business and technology challenges by delivering technical computing, Big Data.

Chris Orlando
Vice President Communications and Investor Relations

Chris Orlando possesses more than 20 years of business, marketing and corporate communications experience, working for a wide variety of public and private organizations. He has led the internal and external communications functions and served as national spokesman for companies as large as 17,000 employees. He has nearly a decade of direct experience leading the communications function for national, consumer-focused financial services companies.

Chris earned a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.B.A. from George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Sarah Payne
Vice President Marketing and Corporate Relations

Sarah Payne has over 18 years experience in Marketing, advertising, social media, and reputation management. At Chrysler Corporation Sarah was a key member of the team that created and produced all media advertising including television, radio and print media. After Chrysler Corporation, Sarah started her own Social Media and Reputation Management firm in Florida. Where she built a successful business for 5 years before selling the company and joining NXT-ID. Sarah has a B.A. from Ohio State University in Advertising and Marketing.

Brad Snyder
Vice President Product Support and Operations

With over 16 years of payment services and operational experience, Brad Snyder has worked in client facing organizations championing “the voice of the customer” to deliver products and services that add value to clients’ businesses.

Prior to joining FitPay, Brad led the Global Merchant Product and Operational support teams for Visa. This included building and managing a global team responsible for 4k+ enterprise clients in a SaaS environment with over 125 staff members and operational hubs in the United States, Singapore, Japan, Brazil and the UK.

Major General David R.
Gust, USA, Ret

Independent Director

General Gust presently does consulting work for his own company, David R. Gust & Associates, LLC. Between April 2007 and May 2009, General Gust was the President of USfalcon, a privately-held company working with the U.S. Defense sector, primarily in information technology. Previously, General Gust had served as the Manager for Federal Telecommunications for Bechtel National, Inc. from November 2004 to March 2007. Prior to that, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Technical and Management Services Corporation from 2000 to 2004.

 General Gust retired from the United States Army in 2000 after completing a career of 34 years of service. General Officer assignments included the Program Executive Officer, Communications Systems (PEO-Comm Systems), Program Executive Officer, Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO-IEW&S) and at Army Materiel Command, as Deputy Chief of Staff for Research, Development and Acquisition (DCSRDA).

Michael J. D’Almada-Remedios, PhD
Director

Dr. Remedios is Chief Technology Officer of WorldVentures Holdings. Between January 2011 and September 2013 Dr. Remedios was Chief Information Officer for Arbonne International, a billion dollar global cosmetics company. From February 2009 to December 2010 he was a Vice-President at Expedia, Inc. and was responsible for all technologies, product development and technical operations for hotels.com.

Prior to February 2009 Dr. Remedios was Chief Technology Officer for Realtor.com and Shopping.com, a subsidiary of eBay, Inc. At eBay he was a member of the eBay Inc. Technology Board for eBay, PayPal and Skype. 

Dr. Remedios was also CTO at software company, Swarm-Mobile. He has a PhD. In Computer Control and Fluid Dynamics from the University of Nottingham in England and a B.Sc. In Physics and Computer Science from Kings College, University of London in England.

Daniel Sharkey
Independent Director

Dan Sharkey was Executive Vice President of Business Development of ATMI, a publicly traded semi conductor company from 2007 to 2014, and was responsible for expanding ATMI markets and long-term growth potential by identifying and delivering new strategic and product opportunities. Mr. Sharkey joined ATMI as Chief Financial Officer in April 1990 and continued in that position with the additional responsibilities as Treasurer and Secretary until 2007. ATMI was sold to Entegris in 2014 for $1.15 billion.

Before joining ATMI, Mr. Sharkey was Vice President of Finance for Adage, Inc., a publicly traded computer graphics manufacturer, from 1987-1990. From 1983-1987, he was Corporate Controller for CGX Corporation a venture capital-backed, privately held computer graphics manufacturer that merged with Adage, Inc. in 1987. From 1978 to 1983, Mr. Sharkey worked as a Certified Public Accountant in the Boston office of KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Sharkey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Robin D. Richards

Robin Richards serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at CareerArc Group LLC., Internships.com and TweetMyJobs, LLC. Mr. Richards serves as the President of the Chase Foundation. He served as the Chief Executive Officer andChairman of Blackboard Connect Inc. (formerly The NTI Group, Notification Technologies, Inc.). Mr. Richards is widely regarded as a true industry pioneer in the e‐commerce, technology and digital media industries. Mr. Richards is ... a proven successful entrepreneur and visionary strategist. He sets the corporate goals and leads the development of business and market strategies.He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Vivendi Universal Net USA Group, Inc. In this role, Mr. Richards oversaw all aspects of six interrelated entities, including technical initiatives. From December 2002 to June 2003, he served as the President and Chief Operating

Officer of the Prostate Cancer Foundation. He serves as a Board Member of The Prostate Cancer Foundation. From January 1999 to August 2001, Mr. Richards served as the Founding President of MP3.com. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of MP3.com from January 1999 to January 2001. Mr. Richards took MP3.com public in 1999 and was the lead negotiator for the sale of MP3 to Vivendi Universal. Mr. Richards served as the Managing Director of Tickets.com, Inc. From March 1986 to October 1997, he was the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer at Lexi International. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Social Sentinel, Inc He serves as the Chairman of Jets.com of Ingate Technologies, LLC and Cash Technologies, Inc. Additionally, Mr. Richards serves on the Boards of the National School Boards Foundation and the California State Summer School for the Arts (InnerSpark).

Mr. Richards has been the Director of Linspire, Inc. since April 2004. He serves as a Director of REVOLUTION PREP, LLC. and MP3.com. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Board at Opus8, Inc. and Kennet Partners Limited. He is a member of several boards, including LASEC (Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission), University of Southern California Marshall School of Business ‐ Board of Leaders and Ad.ly. Mr. Richards served as a Director of PeoplePC Inc. since April 2002. He served as a Director of Cash Technologies, Inc. October 2005 to September 12, 2008.

John Bendheim
Independent Director

John M. Bendheim serves as the President of Bendheim Enterprises Inc. In addition, Mr. Bendheim serves as a Vice President at Leon Lowenstein Foundation, Inc. He founded Inland Homes in 1994 and has specialized in providing equity funding for real estate transactions. He works with several developers and affiliates on single family lots totaling over one thousand lots. He served as the President of Benditel Incorporated from 1988 to 1994. He has owned apartments, surgery centers, office buildings, condominiums, model homes, industrial buildings, recreational vehicle parks and convenience centers. Mr. Bendheim serves as the Chairman of the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission. From 2001 to 2002, he served as Executive Chairman of the International Young President Organization. He served as the Chairman of Board of Governors of Cedars‐Sinai from 2000 to 2002.

Mr. William Fields is a former President and CEO of Wal-Mart Retail Stores Division and Chief Executive Officer of Blockbuster Entertainment Group, a division of Viacom, Inc.

During his 25-year career with Wal-Mart, Mr. Fields held numerous senior executive positions within the organization, including Assistant to Wal-Mart Founder, Sam Walton; Senior Vice President of Distribution and Transportation; and Executive Vice President of Wal-Mart, Inc. culminating in the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Wal-Mart Retail Stores Division. Mr. Fields was responsible for over 2,000 stores and 300,000 employees, generating  approximately $68 billion in annual revenues.

Stanley Washington

Mr. Washington is recognized as a key business leader in the financial services industry with over 25 years’ experience. Currently, as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pantheon Business Consulting (PBC) he manages a strategic business development firm which focuses on partnering fast growing small & mid-sized companies in emerging categories with large strategic partners; providing senior leadership teams with innovative thought leadership concepts aimed at increased revenue generation, consumer program activation and diverse strategic supplier partnership development for the building of long-term shareholder growth and profitability. 

Prior to PBC Stan spent 17 years as an executive at American Express and was Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Western United States operating as the region’s senior business leader where he managed American Express’ U.S. Commercial Card Division overseeing the Account Development Organization including sales and operational support across multiple industries, to more than 260 U.S. based companies, representing over $300 billion in annual corporate revenue. 

During his career at American Express he held numerous positions within the company including Regional Vice President and General Manager of the American Express Establishment Services Division where he was responsible for over $50 billion in annual charge volume, managing all merchant account relationships, cardmember marketing, sponsorships and advertising to more than one million American Express merchant business locations throughout the Western States and Micronesia.

Gregory Johnson

Mr. Gregory Johnson was formerly Head of Business Relationships for Capital One and is leading a B2B growth strategy that includes building out new high touch dialogic channels and partnerships that attract and grow relationships with small businesses and mid-market companies in the US. Prior to joining Capital One, Gregory spent 17 years at American Express Company working in Consulting Services, Business Travel, Commercial Card, and the OPEN Small Business brand forming strategy and architecting large client facing teams to acquire and grow customers through various channels. Gregory earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Arizona State University went on to complete his Executive MBA.

Lawrence Flanagan

Mr. Lawrence Flanagan is President and CEO of AARP Member Services since November 2014 and was formerly the Executive Dean at the University of New Haven College of Business. Flanagan is regarded as one of the most accomplished global marketing leaders in the country.

Prior to his career in academia, he spent nearly three decades in corporate America as an executive at MasterCard Worldwide, the Procter & Gamble Company and L’Oreal USA. As the global chief marketing officer at MasterCard, he managed a $1.5 billion budget, directed marketing strategies in more than 50 countries and helped launch the company’s hugely successful, “Priceless” advertising campaign. He also established strategic partnerships with Major League Baseball, the PGA Tour and Champions League soccer in Europe and was part of the executive team that spearheaded MasterCard’s highly successful initial public offering in 2006.

Ken Moy

Mr. Ken Moy, is director of Global Payments and Emerging Commerce at Subway. He was formerly senior vice president and Group Head of US Emerging Payments at MasterCard Worldwide. Moy has extensive experience in large-scale rollouts, partnerships, corporate development, strategic planning, business administration and product management. He launched MasterPass, the firm’s digital wallet solution and important pillar to overall strategy, achieving over 25,000 online merchants, and wallet distribution with over 20 financial institutions. He led an exclusive agreement with Google, Citibank and First Data to launch Google Wallet, the first commercially available mobile payment solutions. He also led an exclusive agreement with Intel for access to embedded technology in Intel PCs to deliver enhanced security and user experience for electronic ecommerce.
